XenoGesis scoops Medilink Outstanding Achievement Award

XenoGesis, has been selected as the winner of the Outstanding Achievement award at the Medilink East Midlands Business Awards 2016. The award recognised Xenogesis’ rapid expansion since launching in November 2011.

“We are very proud to have created 18 employment opportunities for highly skilled scientists in a short timeframe, and it’s great that the awards judges have recognised this. We have worked alongside Medilink East Midlands for a number of years and to have won the Outstanding Achievement award for 2016 is a real honour.”  

The team at XenoGesis specialises in preclinical drug metabolism & pharmacokinetics (DMPK), and has an enviable track record of delivery in drug discovery.

The Medilink East Midlands awards were held as part of the region’s Innovation Day on Wednesday 8 June at The Nottingham Belfry and companies were presented with awards in five categories: Start-up, Export Achievement, Collaboration with the NHS, Innovation and Outstanding Achievement.

The Outstanding Achievement Award was sponsored by Morningside Pharmaceuticals, and Dr Nik Kotecha, Chief Executive Officer, presented the award on the
night. 
He commented: 

“All of the finalists in the Outstanding Achievement category have made a significant contribution to the healthcare industry, and Morningside Pharmaceuticals is delighted to sponsor the award. We would like to offer our sincere congratulations to XenoGesis for their continued hard work and dedication.”

XenoGesis, along with three other East Midlands companies, will be automatically entered into the Medilink UK National Awards, which are due to take place later on in the year.
