Rebecca is Chief Operating Officer and her role includes providing strategic insight and direction as well as overseeing the HR, finance and daily operations at XenoGesis.

Rebecca also heads up the busy Client Relationship Management (CRM) team, who are responsible for issuing quotes and work orders as well as liaising with clients. XenoGesis adopts a consultative approach and the CRM team works collaboratively with the lab scientists and clients to recommend which studies need to be performed as well as ensuring that data is delivered in a timely manner.

Rebecca is a highly experienced DMPK scientist with excellent organisational and project management skills. Her role also includes design and coordination of in vitro and in vivo PK studies, interpretation and communication of DMPK data.

Rebecca studied biochemistry at the University of Oxford and went on to complete her PhD in drug metabolism and transport at the University of Dundee. Following this, she spent almost 10 years working at AstraZeneca in Loughborough working in Discovery DMPK on a number of respiratory and inflammation projects, contributing to the delivery of pre-clinical drug candidates. She was also responsible for coordinating and running the global AstraZeneca CYP induction assay.
